Following the success of Carousel at the Blackpool Grand Theatre, the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre students of the School of Creative Arts and Digital Industries proudly present the timeless musical West Side Story set in the prestigious venue of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

With ground breaking choreography by Jerome Robbins, book by Arthur Laurents, an unforgettable score by Leonard Bernstein with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, West Side Story set new heights for musical theatre and changed the genre forever.

Based on William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Romeo and Juliet, featuring blistering dance routines and packed with unforgettable songs “Maria,” “Tonight,” “Somewhere,” and “America”, don’t miss this opportunity to see the musical considered by many to be the greatest of all time.
